OUR DAD GORDON WAS A VERY WELL KNOWN MAN IN BERWICK TOWN AND HIS BELOVED TWEEDMOUTH WHERE HE WAS
BORN AND BRED.HE WWORKED AS A STEELFIXER AND AMBULANCE MAN UNTIL HE SUFFERED A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK
AT THE AGE OF 46.HE MADE AN ALMOST FULL RECOVERY BUT COULD NOT RETURN TO STEELFIXING.OUR DAD HOWEVER
WAS A BRILLIANT HANDYMAN,HE KEPT MANY A HOOVER, MOWER,WASHING MACHINE ETC GOING FOR MANY LOCALS,HE
TINKERED WITH CARS BUILT MODEL BOATS AND WAS AN ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST,DRAWING MANY FAMOUS BERWICK
HAUNTS.BUT MOST OF ALL HE WAS A WONDERFUL DAD AND GAGA AND GREAT GAGA WHO IS STILL VERY SADLY MISSED
BY MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.I KNOW YOU NEVER BELIEVED DAD BUT I DO AND HOPEFULLY I'L SOON SEE YOU UP

Aw dad,how i wish i could smell your cardigan,feel your rough cheek against mine,see that wry smile when you had your pipe in your mooth,still getting your advice, your wisdom, i so wish i could have your strength. I'm foldin here dad, i'm given up! Everyone i love is gettin taken away from me one by one,it's so painful,we debated many a time whether there was a God or not! Told you so!!!! I pray somehow you get this and ask God to either send me more strength or take me up,I miss you and mam so much 20 years for mam and i still remember every twinkle on her soft downy face,how she laughed so much at Tom and Jerry she made hersel cough!Ask God to protect the bairns for me and let Madge get that job,she's desperate dad, watch over them for me i'm so bloody helpless bein 300 miles away from them.I hope you and mam are pleased with baby Gordon's memorial,visit me in my dreams love u all xxx
